For the past 10 or so years I've been riding motorcycles. During most of this time Kristin simply tolerated them. She didn't ride them. She didn't like them. About a year ago, however, Kristin suddenly got a bug up her butt and decided to get her license. In the process, what she found was that she actually liked riding motorcycles! Result? She has her own now!
And so with no further adieu I present our rides, past and present.
This was my first motorcycle. It was given to me as a gift in college in 1993 and it served me well for the year or two (I honestly don't remember) that I rode it. Nothing fancy, but it worked!
[NEED TO GET A PICTURE SCANNED!]
I purchased this bike brand new in 1996 as a simple commuter to get me to and from work. In that capacity it excelled and I never really did tire of the bike even after I no longer needed it as a commuter (my wife and I carpool now). I did, however, sell it when my wife got her bike (2004) as it's just not up to highway speeds....something I'll ask any bike from here on out to be able to do since Kristin and I will be going out on recreational rides from time to time.

With a windshield, trunk and up to 65 mpg, she made the perfect commuter!
This is Kristin's bike. Given her height-challenged situation, I thought it would be the perfect bike for her and picked one up on ebay. Guess what? I was right for a change! She absolutely loves it! Especially since I replaced the pathetically small stock tank with a 4.5 gallon tank.

With the larger tank, you can actually hit 4th gear without stopping for gas!
I liked my 250 cc NIghthawk so much I decided that the only thing I wanted different with a new bike was a bigger engine. So I bought another Nighthawk. This time (obviously) with a 750 cc engine. Oh, and on at least one BB, some folks have expressed interest in my luggage system. With that in mind, HERE is a page discussing it's construction.

The perfect "do anything" bike!"
