The Guns of Hallarone

(Dave and Kristin's Paintball Guns)

The Illustrator

This is Dave's gun: an ACI F4 Illustrator equipped with an Adco E30 red-dot sight, high volume cell, 11.5" Zero Gravity barrel, and WGP Ergo regulator.

About the paint job: Once upon a time I tried to stalk an opponent. I failed. We ended up in a shootout. I got him, but he later confessed to me that he would have never known I was there had it not been for the sun glinting off my (nice and shiny) barrel. I decided right then and there it would never happen again... it hasn't.

The sight is on a side mount to allow Dave to keep his head down just that much more when shooting from behind cover.

The Model 98

Dave's other gun. A Tippmann M98 Custom with Flatline barrel, WGP Ergo regulator, and Lapco rear velocity adjuster. The only thing missing is the Spee-T-Cock (which is due here any day now!).

The Griffin

This is Kristin's gun: an ACI Griffin equipped with an Adco E30 red-dot sight, ACI drop forward regulator, 14" Zero gravity barrel, high volume cell, and an ACI 4 stage expansion chamber (makes a nice foregrip). The sight rail is of Dave's own construction and leans to the right to better accomodate Kristin's left handedness while keeping the profile of the gun lower than if the sight had to look over the powerfeed.

My Babies

Whoops! Officer Edwardo, how did these get in here?
Beats me, but they're my pride and joy...a Daewoo AR-110C and a Romanian SKS.

The Backups

Our backup guns: The first is an ACI F4 TP equipped with everything my F4 has except for the installation of a raised
sight rail instead of a red-dot scope. The second is just an ACI Griffin with ERGO regulator.

The Talons

Kristin and I started out with mere Talons. Being a mechanical engineer, however, I could not leave them alone. I ended up re-barreling them and turning them into quite servicable pumps. While others may laugh, I am indeed quite proud of these guns. For more details feel free to drop by my Talonator page.
